mitchell perilstein writes "skyscraper.org
has several flash-heavy, fun interfaces that present New York City GIS data on a number of axes. The presentation may allow understanding not otherwise obvious. The most interesting for me would be the fly-through view, which shows a series of perspective views of layers through which you move by sliding a control. This almost adds a kinesthetic dimension to the experience. Also nice is a more conventional overlaid overhead view which lets you turn on and off data by category and historical time."
