| Musicplasma Visually Maps Relationships Between Music Artists |

Musicplasma is a Flash-based visual search interface that enables users to discover similarities between music artists. Like other topic map interfaces such as KartOO or Touchgraph, visitors begin by entering the name of an artist they like. Musicplasma then displays a navigable space filled with connected circles, each of which represents an artist. The closer the circles are to each other, the more related the artists are musically. The circles are grouped into clusters representing a particular musical style, i.e. Rock, Funk, Pop, Folk, Electronic etc., and similar epochs (60's, 70's etc). The circles also have halos representing how popular or representative of a particular musical style the artist is.
