WorldForge is an Open Source engine for developing Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games (MMORPGs). It remains in the early stages of development (one working game has been completed so far), but it could provide a good technology foundation for developing a VR-based UI. Here are screenshots, and the source and binaries can be downloaded here.
